CyberWeek 2018

CyberWeek 2018 is scheduled for May 7-11, and will be held in conjunction with ODRLatinoAmerica’s “E-Mark 2018.”  The content is still in the planning stages, but the format for 2018 includes “tracks” that will each take up one day of CyberWeek – the tracks will include days devoted to ODR and the court system, ODR and the influence of artificial intelligence on “traditional” practice, and ODR in education and research.  CyberWeek will also feature a stream of Peace Tech Lab’s Summit being held during the same week.

The Holidays from Hell

November and December 2017 were pretty much lost months for me due to some unexpected medical surprises.  I am happy to say that I am past what I think is the worst of the complications and I’m back on track to “normal” work.  Coming up in the near future are continuing work with the Virginia Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission Self-Represented Litigants Committee, the National Center for State Courts ODR Standards Working Group, the Legal Forum in Saint Petersburg, an AI conference in the UK, the ODR Forum in New Zealand, and of course the International Journal of Online Dispute Resolution and the InternetBar.Org projects.  It looks like a busy year, and so far as I can tell, my health is ok and I’ll be able to fulfill all commitments.  Happy belated New Year to all.
